WATCH D.O.G.S.® Official Mascot George is now available to make a visit to your school as a rental. Costume rentals are available for Official WATCH D.O.G.S.® Schools to use for program launch events, school fundraisers, PTA events, Back-to-School, Spring Fling, Fall Fest, etc. etc.
Please see below for the policies and procedures we've put in place for schools looking to rent a George Costume:
1. Rental Period:
The rental period shall commence when the National WATCH D.O.G.S.® Office drops your costume off to the carrier. The rental window is 4 days from delivery:
Day 1: Arrival
Day 2: Pre-Event
Day 3: Hold Event
Day 4: Return Costume to WATCH D.O.G.S.®
The National WATCH D.O.G.S.® Office will provide a return shipping label for sending the costume back to us, at the end of the rental period.
2. Care & Use:
By renting the George Mascot, the school/customer agrees to use the mascot responsibly and to take all necessary precautions to prevent damage. The school/customer will be responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
3. Late Return Fee:
A late fee of $25 per day will be charged for each day the costume is not returned after the agreed-upon date. It is vital that campuses abide to the agreed upon schedule as to not inturrupt other campuses who have reserved a George Mascot Costume.
4. Ownership and Use:
The renter shall not modify, alter, or use the costume for any purpose other than the intended use without prior written consent from WATCH D.O.G.S.® George the mascot should only appear wearing official WATCH D.O.G.S.® uniform apparel, which is supplied with the costume rental.
5. Packaging:
WATCH D.O.G.S.® will carefully package your costume in a reusable shipping box. Please ensure to care for this box and return the costume using the provided instructions on the package.
6. Deposit:
We strongly encourage you to call the National WATCH D.O.G.S.® Office prior to reserving a costume (888.540.3647) in order to determine if a deposit will be required for your rental. Deposits depend upon current rental availability and reservations operate on a first come-first served basis.
